KBC Men's Ministry Vision and Purpose Kingwood Bible Church's vision for its men is for them to grow deeper in love with God (worship), grow stronger in love for one another (fellowship), and grow broader in love for the lost (evangelism).
The Men's Ministry purpose is to facilitate this growth through the combined opportunities of Bible Study and Prayer, Fellowship and Service, Outreach and Evangelism.
Fellowship Opportunities:
Men's Fellowship Breakfast The first Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM, KBC men come together for a fantastic breakfast and a great time of fellowship.
Sporting Events KBC participates in a local area church softball league provided by Kingwood Adult Softball Association.
For those who enjoy going to games, we will occasionally offer a group outing to a professional sporting event.
Annual Golf Tournament The Men's Annual Golf Tournament is open to all men and their guests. The tournament is a 4-man team scramble - open to all skill levels... from those that "grip it and rip it," to those that "grip it and pray for it!" A barbeque lunch and tournament prizes follow for a day of fun and fellowship.
Men's Retreat The Men's Retreat provides an extended time of fellowship and also provides a special opportunity for spiritual growth. Whether shooting clay pigeons or fishing on the lake, the retreat is a great opportunity for men to take a break from the demands of life and relax for a day or two. Dads are encouraged to bring along their high school sons to the retreat.
Discipleship Opportunities:
Men's Bible Study Topic and date of next study to be announced.
Sunday School Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. Several classes are offered each quarter which provide the opportunity for spiritual growth.
Shepherd Groups Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Small groups provide opportunities for Bible study and discussion, prayer support, personal accountability, and relaxed fellowship with other believers.
Outreach:
We challenge men to see their vocation as a platform for honoring the Lord and as a place where they can have an impact on others. Activities and events are provided by the KBC Men's Ministry that are relatively informal and are designed to be visitor-friendly.
Leadership: Men are encouraged to move toward positions of leadership, to be the spiritual leader in their home, and to...
